Prequine Anti-Doping Program (PADP)
Prenimal Holland B.V. considers quality and reliability of utmost importance.
For the Prequine product line, we have established the Prequine anti-doping program.
This means that for every product carrying the PADP logo, there are no raw materials in the formula that are listed in the FEI Prohibited Substance Database.
We also prevent unwanted cross-contamination in our production by working according to our GMP+ FSA quality system.
This entails amongst others that cleaning is done using a strict cleaning protocol, including wet cleaning of our machines and production areas between each product.
The suppliers of the raw materials are also assessed within our GMP+ FSA quality system; they all have appropriate certifications/quality assurance and the applicable legal registrations/approvals.
Furthermore, our quality system is audited annually both internally and externally.

Prequine AMP Paste contains Adenosine 5-Monophosphate (AMP), which has a good influence on the blood circulation. This increases oxygen and essential nutrient supply and supports removal of metabolic waste products such as lactic acid, delaying fatigue. Prequine AMP Paste also contains L-carnitine L-tartrate, required for oxidation of long-chain fatty acids for energy production.

Prequine ATP Boost contains Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP), the primary carrier of chemical energy and main energy source for metabolic processes. To further support this metabolic energy process, glycine, arginine, and methionine are added, out of which the body makes creatine, that is used for storage of fast energy in the muscles.

Prequine Biotin Gold is produced according to GMP+ FSA quality guidelines. Prequine Biotine Gold contains among others Biotin, Zinc, Copper, several vitamins, Methyl sulphonyl methane (MSM), Methionine and Cysteine, which promote quality of, and contribute to, healthy growth of the hooves, coat, mane and tail.
Biotin is added on a high level, which has a positive influence through its role in keratin production on hoof quality, contributing to the creation of harder and less brittle hooves. Next to improving hoof quality, it also plays a supporting role in hair condition (coat, mane and tail). Zinc is an important mineral in the hoof and hair formation, as it induces the keratin production. Copper, Biotin and Zinc work synergetic to help maintain hoof health and support the production of keratin. Methionine and Cysteine are amino acids that play a vital role in the production of keratin, supporting the growth and strength of hooves and hair.
Vitamins A, C, B3 (niacinamide), and B5 (Calcium-D-pantothenate) are added as they give antioxidant protection and support the collagen synthesis. Prequine Brass Gold is developed to support the pregnant/lactating mare, and the bone and cartilage development in the young horse by the supplementation of amongst others phosphorus, calcium, copper,
zinc, manganese, several vitamins, glucosamine, methylsulphonylmethane (MSM), lithothamnion and chondroitin.
The right balance between calcium and digestible phosphorus in young animals is crucial for their bone development, which is exactly why Prequine Brass Gold is developed with this correct ratio for young animals in mind. Zinc, copper and manganese are trace elements that also play an important role in de bone development and formation as they, amongst others, activate enzymes involved and assist in mineralization. For this reason, all three trace minerals have been added in the high bio-available chelated form.
Vitamins A, K3 and niacinamide (vit B3) play a supporting role in the bone turnover and the bone mineralization. Vitamin D3 on the other hand plays a supporting role in the absorption of both calcium and phosphorus.
MSM is a natural compound that is important to help in the formation of connective tissue, including bone and cartilage. Prequine Calphoxin is developed to support strong bones by the supplementation of amongst others: phosphorus, calcium, copper, zinc, manganese, several vitamins and methylsulphonylmethane (MSM).
The right balance between calcium and digestible phosphorus in animals is crucial for the maintenance of strong bones, but this needed ratio changes with the age of an animal, with younger animals needing more calcium compared to digestible phosphorus than mature animals. Prequine Calphoxin is developed with this ratio being correct for mature animals, in order to support the retention of strong bones.
Zinc and copper are trace elements that play an important role in the bone development and formation, and
for this reason have been added in the high bio-available chelated form. Next to these trace elements, also
the trace element manganese is added as it activates enzymes involved in bone development and assists in mineralization.

Prequine Gastro Gold Plus contains several ingredients that support the protection of the stomach and intestine, amongst which medium chain fatty acids, pectin, bentonite, oregano, inactivated yeast and aloe vera.
Pectin, once in contact with stomach acid, forms a thick gel that can support the protection of the stomach lining. Linseed oil is a great plant-based source of omega-3 fatty acids, which can help to get your horse into peak condition and support a glossier coat and healthy skin. Linseed oil is an energy dense product that is given as a slow release of energy, thereby keeping horses calmer compared to feeding purely carbohydrate energy sources. Domesticated horses and camels are often fed concentrated sources of energy in the form of grains either in pure form or in pellets. Grains possess more omega-6 fatty acids than forage, creating an imbalance of omega-3 to omega-6 fatty acids. As linseed oil is more than 3 times higher in omega-3 than in omega-6, supplementing linseed oil helps improve the omega-3 and omega-6 ratio in the diets.

Sodium hyaluronate for intra-articular administration. Sodium hyaluronate is a natural polymer from the glycosaminoglycan class (acid mucopolysaccharides). It is the major component of joint fluid and plays a significant role in the physiological functions of that fluid. PREQUINEmove is a sterile 1% sodium hyaluronate solution obtained from Streptococcus zooepidemicus by fermentation processes and subsequent purification. It is characterized by its viscoelasticity, hygroscopicity and lubricating properties. Intra-articular injection of PREQUINEmove improves articular function, thus relieving pain caused by osteoarthritis. PREQUINEmove improves articular mobility and normalizes diseased synovia.
